AND WINTER CAME 2008

And Winter Came... was released on 10TH  November 2008 by Warner Music internationally; its release in the United States followed on 11TH November 2008 by Reprise Records. The album debuted at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart, selling 35,812 copies in its first week. On 28TH November 2008, the album was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for 100,000 copies sold. The album also peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 92,000 copies. In its second week, the album sold 83,000 copies. It continued to sell, and received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on 12TH  December 2008 for sales in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States. By October 2015, this number had grown to 920,000. Elsewhere, the album reached the top 20 in 21 countries in its first three weeks. By late 2011, over three million copies of the album had been sold worldwide.
Enya released "Trains and Winter Rains" as the album's only physical single, in November 2008. This was followed by the release of three album tracks for digital download: "White Is in the Winter Night" on 4TH  November 2008, "My! My! Time Flies!" on 4TH  February 2009, and "Dreams Are More Precious" on 10TH  October 2009.
The album was released on vinyl for the first time, on 20TH  October 2017.

PROMO CRYSTAL CHRISTMAS SNOWFLAKE
Very rare and marvelous snowflake crystal ornament made by the Irish Waterford Crystal Manufacture only for the launch of the album "And Winter Came..." in 2008. The crystal ornament was given to the guests at the Two Temple Place in London launch in the presence of Enya, Roma Ryan and Nicky Ryan on the October 8th 2008. The crystal piece is a special edition expressly designed and created by the crystal manufacture for the event.
It is composed of a burgundy velvet box stamped by the Waterford Manufacture which measures approximately 5,7"/4,9" accompanied of the snowflake which measures approximately 4,72"/3,93" stamped and engraved by the Manufacture, a velvet sleeve stamped by the Manufacture homely the metallic support of the snowflake on which one we find some other parts of Waterford crystal, and the guarantee from the manufacture with some information on the Manufacture.
The box is enclosed by a strip "Enya And Winter Came..."
It does NOT contain the CD in itself, but was given to the guests with the "And Winter Came..." promo book.










20TH ANNIVERSARY CDR 2008 (PROMOTIONAL)
Very rare 20th Anniversary 2008 UK promotional CD-R, marking the 20th Anniversary of the Watermark album release. Custom printed disc with white wallet and red custom embossed title sleeve, containing the CD housed in a grey slipcase opened up, containing the title "20th anniversary", the setlist of the compilation and the references back.
A very few copies were made (less than 100) as for the And Winter Came... promo book and promo crystal snowflake.
No catalog number.
The CD was given to the guests at the launch of “And Winter Came” on the 8th October in London, with the promo book.
