BACKGROUND

The Enya Discography was originally part of the Enya Unofficial Home Page (EUHP) which David Allum set up in July 1994. His website quickly established itself as the most comprehensive online Enya resource. In April 1997 the EUHP, with the exception of the discography, was taken over by Peter Pehrson. While The Enya Discography was still under Allum's care, the EUHP was re-launched as shepherdmoons.net with John Eckroth in May 2000. Two years later in March 2002, their site became Enya.com - the official Enya website.

In May 2002 David Allum relinquished the discography and its maintenance to Jerome Allison and Jens Speh. In 2003, the decision was made that The Enya Discography would join Enya.com in an attempt to make the discography an official Enya source for news and information about releases. This merging process began in December 2003 and was completed in 2004.

In 2018/2019 ENYA.COM went offline and the official discography could not be accessed. The all new enya discography was reinitiated on talks with Jens Speh and Phillip Callaghan.
